Established in 1980 as an architectural design firm, Malcolm Worby Designs is an award-winning design consultation firm that specialises in designing sustainable and environmentally friendly buildings for a diverse range of clients; rich and poor, concentrating on sustainable and natural buildings and energy design.
Some of these energy efficient and sustainable systems include passive and active solar heating and cooling, solar water heating, rainwater harvesting and waterless/composting toilets to name a few.
They have designed many different types and styles of buildings including custom residences, homes for the poor, townhouses, apartments, various hotel projects, restaurants, shops, offices as well as doing building additions and renovations.

A large portion of their architectural work is with communities and in fact most of their projects are community based. Environmental issues are also important to them and they believe there is a strong connection between the two.
